After buying a product, a customer also needs a valid technical documentation to better appreciate the product potentials and to get the feeling that they chose a solid company, which is able to solve any problem.
The documentary material is not only about techniques, but it also constitutes an efficient marketing tool by triggering a virtuous process: purchase satisfaction, maintenance, spare parts, preservation, accessories to combine, disposal.
A satisfied customer is going to buy again, and to recommend the product.
Documentation can speak to different kinds of audience (technical area – consumer) and it must follow certain standards (which are imposed by European and international norms). By the way, it must be easy to use and as concise as possible.
When we talk about technical documents, we mean different kinds of document:

  • operating instructions manual

  • installation manuals

  • technical brochures

Each of these documents has specific and different characteristics and aims; therefore, documentation structure will also need to follow precise rules and different levels of in-depth analysis.
Once the contents, goals and addressees have been identified, the organization and composition of the document must be clear, easy to read and graphically intuitive.
No matter the tools, either electronic or printed, the documents must obey graphic, layout, punctuation and colors rules.

Summing it up in a few words, documentation is communication, it conveys the company profile coherence and secure customers loyalty.
